These Terms govern your use of the Crib iOS app ("the App").
Acceptance
By signing in to the App you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
What the App does
The App helps small groups of roommates coordinate household tasks: trash and cleaning rotations, weekly cleaning checklists with photo proof, bills tracking, and group chat. It does not process payments — bill tracking is purely informational.
Your account
- You must use Sign in with Apple to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- One account per person.
Households
When you create a household, you become its owner. Owners can:
- Approve or deny join requests.
- Remove members.
- Delete the household (only when they're the only member).
Members can leave a household at any time. If the owner leaves while other members remain, ownership transfers to the longest-tenured remaining member.
You're responsible for the contents of any photo, message, bill, or task you create. Don't upload illegal, harassing, or infringing content.
Bills
The App tracks bills as a coordination tool. It does not initiate, process, or guarantee any payment between you and your roommates or any third party. Disputes about who paid what are between you and your roommates.
Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from within the App.
- We can terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
No warranties
The App is provided "as is." We do our best but make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or relating to your use of the App is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months — which is zero, since the App is free.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
